We’re looking for a Video Editor & Producer to create and shape short-form, social-first video content and recurring content series that bring our brand to life. You’ll collaborate with creative, editorial, and branded content teams to capture high-energy, trend-savvy videos that resonate with audiences in the Retail, CPG and QSR space, as well as creating organic, though-leading content in the smart-spending vertical. This role blends production and post-production experience.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of proven experience in video editing, with a portfolio of short-form, social-first content and series that demonstrated proficiency in motion design.
  • At least 1–2 years of hands-on production and camera operation experience
  • An understanding of camera operation, composition, lighting techniques, and framing. This includes proficiency in using various types of cameras and equipment to capture high-quality video footage.
  • Ability to operate and carry camera equipment (up to 25 lbs)
  • Experience with Blackmagic and Sony cameras, as well as standard audio recording technology like Sound Devices recorders and RODE mics as well as products from Sennheiser and Deity.
  • Experience managing freelance video production support, as needed
  • Demonstrated skill with video editing software platforms, specifically proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, (Premiere Pro, After Effects or similar)
  • Strong understanding of how to tailor content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms
  • Knowledge of production fundamentals, including lighting, sound, and framing for social-first video
  • Strong storytelling instincts with a sharp sense of pacing, timing, and visual continuity
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with creating vertical-specific reels (for example, a 15 second video highlighting all work done for food brands) to help showcase and sell a given category of business.
  • Creative problem-solver with a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

  • Own editing and post-production for short-form, social-first video content and recurring series—delivering work that’s platform-optimized and visually compelling. This will include dynamic motion work in After Effects and, if needed, other rendering software programs.
  • Ability to operate camera equipment for both in-studio and on-location shoots, capturing high-quality footage for branded content and organic social campaigns
  • Collaborate and have a strong point of view with creative teams to develop concepts, storyboards, and episode outlines for ongoing social series
  • Quickly edit footage, add music, dialogue, graphics, and effects to create engaging, trend-aware content. Review scripts and raw material to create shot lists and ensure logical sequencing, pacing, and storytelling flow
  • Contribute to on-set production needs, including lighting, sound, and direction when needed
  • Have a working knowledge of proper post-production protocol regarding the safety and accessibility of digital assets (DIT and/or Data Wrangler)
  • Stay on top of social platform trends, emerging video formats, and editing techniques to keep content fresh and engaging, and have the confidence to bring them to the table.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure creative alignment and consistent brand voice across all video content
