About The Position

Situation is a leading full-service marketing and advertising agency specializing in live experience-based brands, including some of Broadway’s biggest blockbusters and iconic live experiences like The Metropolitan Opera and the Empire State Building. We create groundbreaking campaigns that captivate audiences and drive cultural conversation. We are seeking a highly skilled Video Editor / Motion Designer to produce high-quality video campaigns for live theatrical brands, including Broadway and Off-Broadway productions. Your primary focus will be editing and animating assets that drive ticket sales and brand awareness. In this role, you will handle projects from initial asset hand-off to final delivery, adapting creative concepts across broadcast, digital, social, and out-of-home (OOH) platforms. You will collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Art Directors, and Copywriters to build out campaigns, solve visual problems, and ensure all video deliverables meet exact technical specifications. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who takes ownership of their deliverables and is looking for a role with clear room for long-term growth. Note: This position will begin as a contract-to-hire (trial period) to ensure a strong mutual fit before transitioning to full-time employment. Our office is located in midtown Manhattan, operating on a hybrid schedule.
