About The Position

Paradise Weddings is all about creating unforgettable destination weddings, and we need a social-savvy, creative powerhouse to help us tell that story online. We’re looking for an experienced Social Media Editor / Video Remixer who can turn our raw assets into cohesive, high-performing social content. This role is ideal for someone who understands hooks, brand voice, storytelling, and platform strategy. You can confidently edit, repurpose, and package content for Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms. You won’t be starting from scratch! You’ll be refining, repurposing, and elevating what already exists into a clear, consistent presence. This is a part-time, remote role with room to grow.

Requirements

  • Proven experience editing and managing social content for brands. (wedding, travel, or lifestyle is considered an asset.)
  • Strong editing skills, you know how to refine and elevate content.
  • Deep understanding of short-form video and platform-specific formats.
  • Ability to take direction, then work independently and make smart, creative decisions.
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable working asynchronously.
  • Strong instinct for brand voice, tone, and visual consistency.
  • Someone seasoned, confident, reliable, and able to move quickly.
  • Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

  • Edit and repurpose long-form content into social-ready posts. (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube Shorts)
  • Turn existing ideas, drafts, footage, and concepts into organized, strategic content calendars.
  • Shape content into clear themes and pillars so the feed feels intentional, not scattered.
  • Maintain and protect brand voice across all platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with the Community Manager to ensure consistency and alignment.
  • Suggest formats, hooks, and optimizations based on performance and trends.
