About The Position

Video Asset Coordinator & Editor This role will be responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining the team’s video library while supporting the production of high-quality video content. This role ensures all footage is properly logged, tagged, archived, and easily accessible to the content and production teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically skilled, and capable of also executing clean, timely edits that support storytelling, social media, internal requests, and brand initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Asset Management & Organization Log, tag, and catalog all incoming video footage from games, practices, events, and shoots. Maintain an organized and searchable media asset management system. Ensure footage is backed up, archived, and stored according to team standards. Manage naming conventions, metadata, and folder structures across servers and cloud storage. Coordinate the distribution of footage to internal and external departments as needed. Manage the Video Production Server Editing & post-production Edit short-form and mid-form content using existing footage (social cutdowns, reels, hype videos, internal content, practice/game clips, etc.). Prepare melts, selects, and rough assemblies for editors and producers. Edit basic highlight packages, interview clips, and branded content following team visual guidelines. Production Support Assist with ingest, transcode, and workflow prep for larger creative projects. Support content team with footage pulls, story searches, and archival requests. Collaborate with producers, shooters, and editors to ensure assets are delivered on schedule. Quality Control Review incoming footage for technical issues and report inconsistencies. Ensure all exported edits meet format, codec, and platform specifications. Maintain consistency in branding, versioning, and visual style.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years’ experience in video production media asset management, editing, or similar role (sports experience a plus).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Strong understanding of video codecs, formats, frame rates, and storage systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under deadlines—especially in fast-paced sports environments.
  • Ability to work off hours (post-match, weekends)
