About The Position
The Clay County Attorney’s Office is now accepting applications for a Part-Time (20 hours per week) Victim/Witness Coordinator. Date Posted: 12/26/2025 Application Deadline: 1/9/2026 at 4:00 PM Status : Non-Exempt Starting salary : $27.68 per hour – Pay Range for the position is $27.68-$38.68 per hour. Shift: This position’s anticipated schedule will be between Monday-Friday from 12:30 PM-4:30 PM. This position will work 20 hours per week. Schedule variability is expected based on court calendars and victim/witness needs. Benefits: This position is eligible for pro-rated vacation, sick and holiday benefits
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Human Services or related field.
- 6 months previous work-related experience
- Ability to pass a background check

Responsibilities
- Provide criminal justice support to crime victims.
- Prepare correspondence for victims and witnesses.
- Interact and communicate with community agencies in order to provide victims and witnesses with additional resources.
- Other duties as assigned.
