About The Position

Lincoln Academy Position Overview: This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic school leader to work alongside experienced administration as a Vice Principal. This position will include responsibilities with both Elementary (70%) and Secondary (30%). Essential Functions of the Position: Promote and embody the mission, vision, and values of Lincoln Academy: Serve as an active advocate for the Academy’s vision of academic excellence, integrity, and community involvement. Ensure that all actions and communications align with the school’s mission and core values of Student Focus, Growth Mindset, Automatic Optimism, Loyalty, and Accountability. Establish and maintain high standards: Foster a school culture that prioritizes the success of students and staff. Promote high expectations for student achievement and faculty performance. Maintain a visible presence with the school community: Build relationships with students, staff, and parents, demonstrating strong leadership and a commitment to the school’s values. Communicate effectively: Ensure clear, open, and professional communication both orally and in writing with students, staff, and parents.

Requirements

  • 3 years of classroom teaching experience: Proven experience in delivering high-quality instruction and managing a classroom effectively in an elementary or secondary setting.
  • Master’s degree with administrative certificate and experience: A graduate degree in education and administrative certificate and prior experience in educational leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in an administrative role preferred: Previous experience as an administrator, with a focus on supporting staff, students, and school operations.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise K-9 Teacher Assistants
  • Work with TA leads
  • Approve Timecards
  • Perform Quarterly Evaluations
  • Oversee attendance K-9 and work with school counselors.
  • Send attendance letters.
  • Schedule attendance meetings.
  • Work with administration, parents, counselors, and staff to help students succeed.
  • Assist with Student Discipline
  • Support faculty development
  • Lead instructional management
  • PLC’s WIN time implementation
  • Work with and support Elementary Instructional Coach
  • Analyze student performance data
  • Support school operations
  • Instructional Supervision and Staff Development
  • Assist with classroom observations
  • Daily Operations and Building Management
  • Support the implementation of extracurricular activities
  • Parent and Community Relations
  • Supplemental Functions of the Position
