Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 6–10+ years of operations, CLO or rated structure work, fund accounting, preferably in financial services or another complex, regulated industry
  • Ownership mentality crucial to the role
  • Demonstrated success managing funds in an operational context
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex operational details clearly
  • High attention to detail and strong problem‑solving ability
  • Experience with workflow systems, fund reporting, and service metrics
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Oversee funds operational health
  • Responsible for onboarding funds and onboarding complex fund transactions
  • Work with global fund finance on quarterly and annual NAV calculations for assigned funds
  • Oversee operations for complex instruments, structured products, and alternative assets (as applicable)
  • Work with treasury, admin and collateral agents on reconciliation of cash, positions, and transactions
  • Assist with waterfall calculations; capital calls, distribution notices and rebalances
  • Review and validate fund expenses, accruals, income, and valuation adjustments
  • Assist with the quarter‑end and year‑end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Coordinate and respond to auditor, administrator, and client inquiries
  • Support investor reporting, capital activity processing, distribution waterfalls, and performance calculations
  • Identify and lead process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk
  • Collaborate with operations, risk, valuation, and investment teams on fund‑related matters
  • Assist on building better automated solutions to enhance the overall process to scale growth
