About The Position

As the VP of Brand Management for Chase Freedom, you are at the helm of shaping and executing the brand strategy for the Freedom card portfolio. This role seeks a leader who will be responsible for all paid media creative campaigns to drive measurable impact on both the brand and business. You will collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to develop game-changing creative and innovative media plans, overseeing all paid advertising and owned channels including messaging focus, creative approach, talent integrations, production, channel mix, budget allocations, and ROI measurement. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in Advertising, Media, or Brand.
  • Proven track record as a self-starter, capable of translating high-level objectives into actionable campaigns
  • Strong project and timeline management skills, ensuring timely and efficient campaign execution
  • Production experience
  • Proficient in trafficking assets
  • Expertise in budget management and financial oversight
  • Ability to innovate and bring fresh perspectives to campaign creative, media strategies, and project management
  • Exceptional collaboration skills, with the ability to navigate diverse opinions and maintain strong relationships

Responsibilities

  • Manage and evolve paid creative strategy and development from concept to execution, partnering with teams to identify the optimal approach across several types of campaigns, including brand-building, action-driving, and experiential. Oversee and partner on the execution of creative assets from brief development, concepting, creative testing, production, and trafficking.
  • Manage owned campaign strategy, partnering with teams to ensure proper brand representation and alignment.
  • Partner to refine and evolve media channel strategy, collaborating with media planners to optimize channel mix, targeting, and spend across full funnel and platform recommendations, including driving innovation and exploration into new channels and opportunities.
  • Oversee brand budget, necessary finance approvals, and budget efficiencies.
  • Build Freedom’s paid media learning roadmap: partner with analytics teams to manage campaign reporting and results share-out, measure ROI, and identify best practices.
  • Cultivate strong relationships across diverse teams, including brand, media, sports & stay ahead of industry trends and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive card space to inform strategic decisions and drive business objectives.
  • Guide and develop junior team members, nurturing their growth and expertise.
