Position Overview The Vice President of Operations for QISG Engineering plays a critical leadership role in driving strategic growth, operational excellence, and high‑quality service delivery for our clients and partners. This senior leader oversees multiple Divisions totaling approximately 400 employees and generating approximately $80M in annual revenue. The VP is accountable for divisional performance, including financial results, client satisfaction, operational execution, and talent development. This role requires a growth‑minded leader capable of driving year‑over‑year organic revenue expansion while strengthening internal and external relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, PE
  • Minimum 15 years of industry experience.
  • 10+ years of management‑level experience in utilities

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute company goals, providing operational expertise and guidance.
  • Partner across divisions and departments to ensure alignment and successful delivery of organizational objectives.
  • Present regular performance updates, metrics, and operational insights to senior leadership.
  • Communicate project updates, priorities, schedules, and development needs across divisions.
  • Achieve financial control and profitability targets for each division.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expanded scopes within existing client relationships.
  • Develop divisional strategies to grow profitable business, including evaluating self‑perform vs. subcontractor execution.
  • Assess and communicate areas of risk and profitability to guide project team decision‑making.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring timely and effective responses to client needs.
