About The Position

Founded in 1967, ImageFIRST® is the largest and only national linen rental and laundry service specializing in the healthcare market. Acquired by private equity firm Calera Capital in 2018, ImageFIRST serves medical facilities nationwide providing linen, patient gowns, scrubs, and more while managing their clients’ linen inventory for cost management. We are seeking a high-potential technology leader who excels at driving execution, leading cross-functional initiatives, and translating strategy into action. This role is designed as a CIO successor track, offering a clear growth path for someone who wants to rise into the executive ranks.You will oversee major technology initiatives across a decentralized, multi-site environment while partnering with the CIO on shaping the 3–5 year technology roadmap. The ideal candidate brings strong business orientation, enterprise applications experience (ideally Oracle), and a track record of delivering value in complex operational settings.

Requirements

7–10+ years of progressive technology leadership.
Experience in decentralized operations, field-based or industrial environments.
Background in mid-sized growth companies ($250M–$1B).
Strong business analytics and financial acumen.
Curious, adaptable, and execution-oriented.
Hands-on with strong operational discipline.
Executive-level communication and influence—serving as a trusted advisor and technology evangelist.

Responsibilities

Partner with the CIO on long-term technology strategy and roadmap.
Translate strategy into a clear business narrative tied to revenue, margin, productivity, and service outcomes.
Anticipate technology opportunities and risks; recommend actions that advance business goals.
Lead execution of modernization, integration, platform, and operational initiatives.
Establish governance, milestones, and KPIs to drive accountability and results.
Maintain a hands-on leadership approach, including regular site visits.
Develop and manage IT operating and capital budgets.
Build business cases for key investments and report on value delivered.
Optimize vendor spend, forecasting, and resource allocation.
Lead a team of 4–8, developing talent and strengthening operating discipline.
Build capabilities and maturity across the technology organization.
Oversee enterprise applications (ideally Oracle) to ensure stability and scalability.
Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, translating complex technology concepts into clear, actionable business language.
