About The Position

Starwood Hotels is seeking an innovative and technically skilled leader to join our team as the Vice President, Technical Services. This role is essential in ensuring architectural excellence, sustainability integration, and compliance with Starwood Design and Technical Standards across our properties. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented project manager who excels at executing Technical Services Agreements (TSA) in collaboration with property owners, consultants, and development teams.

Requirements

• Passionate about sustainable building and a minimum of 3 years of similar work experience.
• Experience working in the hospitality, real estate development, or luxury brand sectors.
• Precise, organized and detail oriented.
• Solid working proficiency with Bluebeam, MS Project and MS Office Suite.
• Proficiency in building codes, regulations, and standards including IBC, IFC, and NFPA
• Possess the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment continually assessing priorities and acting quickly with a sense of urgency
• Excels at communication, both verbal and written.
• Is flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation

Nice To Haves

• A post-secondary diploma or degree would be a plus.
• LEED certification and understanding of sustainable design - preferred.
