Purpose Serve as a strategic partner to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and executive leadership team to shape and execute the organization’s enterprise-wide talent strategy. This role leads the design and implementation of integrated talent management programs that identify, develop, assess, and retain high-potential talent aligned with business objectives and long-term growth. Drives initiatives across performance management, talent review, succession planning, leadership development, learning and development, career progression frameworks, and organizational design while fostering a high-performance culture where employees are engaged and supported in growing their careers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Fifteen or more (15+) years of progressive experience in talent management, organizational development, leadership development, or related HR disciplines.
  • Minimum seven (7+) years of experience in senior HR or talent leadership roles.
  • Proven experience building or transforming enterprise talent management functions and programs.
  • Demonstrated success designing and implementing performance management, succession planning, talent review, and leadership development programs.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and modern learning technologies.
  • Experience leveraging HR analytics and workforce data to inform talent strategy.
  • Exceptional influencing, consulting, and executive partnership skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in executive coaching, change management, talent assessment tools, or related disciplines preferred.
  • Experience in professional services, consulting, engineering, or multi-office organizations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key strategic advisor to the CHRO and executive leadership team on talent strategy, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Lead enterprise-wide organizational design initiatives, evaluating structures, roles, spans of control, and workforce alignment to support business strategy and operational efficiency.
  • Establish and lead an integrated talent development approach that includes performance management, talent review, succession planning, leadership development, and learning programs.
  • Drive stakeholder alignment and change management with executives, business leaders, HR Business Partners, and employees.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on growth, accountability, and leadership development.
  • Provide executive coaching and development guidance to senior leaders and identified successors.
  • Build coaching capability within HR to support a development-oriented organization.
  • Partner with the CHRO, HR Business Partners, and business leaders to prioritize and implement enterprise talent processes and initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive career progression framework including role leveling, capability models, mentoring, promotion criteria, and internal mobility processes.
  • Lead the strategy, design, and continuous improvement of the organization’s performance management approach aligned with business goals.
  • Oversee enterprise-wide talent review processes, including executive talent reviews, calibration sessions, and identification of high-potential employees.
  • Direct the organization’s succession planning strategy, including executive and critical role succession pipelines, bench strength analysis, and leadership readiness.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to leadership regarding talent risks, workforce capability gaps, and pipeline development opportunities.
  • Leverage technology and analytics to support talent programs, processes, and organizational insights.
  • Measure effectiveness of talent initiatives through key metrics such as retention, leadership readiness, internal mobility, engagement, and succession outcomes.
  • Partner across the organization to embed talent management practices into daily operations and leadership expectations.
  • Architect and implement leadership development programs spanning emerging leaders through executive leadership levels.
  • Design and deliver enterprise learning and development strategies, including professional development, technical training, and leadership capability building.
  • Create learning and development pathways that support career growth and internal advancement.
  • Establish partnerships across the business to strengthen technical learning, mentoring, and leadership capability development.
  • Implement modern learning technologies, digital platforms, and AI-enabled tools to enhance organizational capability building.
  • Lead and facilitate talent review sessions and succession planning discussions with business leaders.
  • Support development planning for high-potential employees and critical talent segments.
  • Evaluate prospective acquisitions for leadership skills and cultural fit.
  • Provide data-driven insights and workforce analytics to guide talent decisions and strategy.
  • Lead initiatives that strengthen organizational culture, engagement, and employee development.
  • Ensure Bowman’s values are integrated into leadership, performance, and development practices.
  • Perform other duties as required.
