About The Position

If you are a Vice President, Supply Chain professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career, this role offers the chance to shape and lead a global supply chain organization while driving transformation, innovation, and operational excellence. You will oversee global supply chain strategy, regional planning, inventory optimization, and the Supply Chain Center of Excellence, ensuring our network remains agile, resilient, and aligned with Emerson’s business objectives. You will collaborate across Procurement, S&OP, Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Customer Operations, Sales, R&D, and Quality to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, business, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience leading global supply chain operations within manufacturing, high‑tech, or electronics environments.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large‑scale transformation and digitalization initiatives.
  • Expertise in supply chain planning, production scheduling, inventory optimization, and ERP/MRP systems.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience guiding globally distributed teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Experience collaborating with manufacturing, S&OP, demand planning, and customer-facing teams.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities, with a track record of driving operational improvements.
  • Experience building and implementing supply chain resiliency and responsiveness programs.
  • Knowledge of regulatory, compliance, and sustainability practices in global supply chain environments.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA or master’s in supply chain or engineering).
  • Experience with enterprise-grade planning and analytics tools such as Oracle EBS, Kinaxis, and AI‑driven platforms.
  • Background implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience leading global supply chain transformation across multiple regions and product portfolios.
  • Proven success integrating advanced analytics and automation technologies into supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead innovative global supply chain strategies that support revenue growth, inventory efficiency, financial performance, and on-time customer delivery.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a global supply chain organization across the United States, Hungary, and Malaysia, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.
  • Continuously assess and adapt regional supply plans to shifting customer requirements and market conditions, including scenario planning and resolution of customer‑critical issues.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives and strengthen supply chain resilience, operational agility, and data-driven decision making.
  • Lead operational performance reviews, monitor key performance indicators, and implement corrective actions to ensure network health and performance.
  • Reconcile supply plans with demand signals, capacity constraints, inventory strategies, and financial targets to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Assess global capacity utilization, supplier resilience, lead times, and inventory profiles to enhance responsiveness, reduce risk, and support long-range growth.
  • Oversee global supply chain visibility and analytics through the supply chain control tower, enabling real‑time monitoring and predictive insights.
  • Lead integration of advanced analytics and AI‑driven tools to identify and mitigate bottlenecks and disruptions.
  • Partner with Global Manufacturing to optimize production scheduling, regional planning, and alignment to demand.
  • Implement Lean practices and continuous improvement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce lead times, and enhance on‑time delivery.
  • Implement sophisticated inventory optimization strategies that balance risk, service performance, and cost.
  • Collaborate across functions to design inventory resilience strategies across sites, suppliers, material categories, and business units.
  • Lead the Supply Chain Center of Excellence in establishing standard processes, continuous improvement practices, and global technology advancement.
  • Deploy enterprise and emerging technologies—including automation, AI, and advanced planning tools—to modernize end‑to-end supply chain processes.
  • Drive organizational scalability to support changing business conditions and growth objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, environmental, and ethical standards while advancing enterprise sustainability and resilience programs.
