BASIC FUNCTION The Vice President- Supply Chain will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and development of an integrated and cohesive supply chain organization. This executive leader will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives across planning, materials management, and logistics, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and operational excellence. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of improving supply performance, cost optimization, reducing risk, and building agile, scalable systems to support global business platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelors’ degree required.
  • 15+ years supply chain experience in materials, strategic sourcing and logistics within a global manufacturing OEM, or B2B environment preferred.
  • Candidate possess demonstrated strategic thinking and turning them into executable actions to achieve results.
  • Demonstrate strong people leadership skills and ability to build and grow high performing, cohesive teams in a matrix environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication and presentation skills are required.
  • Must be goal oriented, results driven and able to work independently
  • Agile and technology adaptor and advocacy

Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate, and implement a clear and effective supply chain vision and plan for meeting the demands of the customer across multiple business units.
  • Working cross functionally with other members of the senior operations and regional leadership teams to build trusted relationships across global, diverse and multi-functional teams to successfully drive business objectives.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with corporate objectives across logistics, planning, and inventory management, driving cost savings, efficiency, and resilience.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team across planning, materials and logistics functions. Foster a culture of accountability, agility, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee global sales and operations planning (coordination of all regional demand planning and forecasting, global supply planning for all products and collaboration with regional supply chain planning), international logistics, global inventory control & monitoring, complexity management, and SC analytics.
  • Direct all functions within budgets and drive cost improvement year-over-year.
  • Develop effective organizational structures.
  • Develop human capital: emphasize performance management, associate development and promotability, and succession planning.
  • Develop and deploy performance metrics as appropriate.
  • Lead the development and implementation of best-in-class supply chain processes (SIOP, NPD, Production Planning, Inventory Management, etc) partnering with executional plant teams to align and rollout improvements.
  • Accountable for assessing performance of all objectives.
