Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required, Masters in Business preferred
  • 8-10 years of progressively responsible supply chain experience
  • Budgeting Software
  • Inventory procurement and management software
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power Point and Word Applications
  • Knowledge of current trends in supply chain management in the Healthcare Industry

Responsibilities

  • The Vice President, Supply Chain Management is responsible for developing programs, systems and processes to standardize, procure, receive, manage, analyze and account for all materials used by Mercy Health Services.
  • The VP is responsible to advise and assist management and other end users in the optimization of the choice and utilization of supplies and equipment.
  • The material needs shall be provided in the efficient and economic manner consistent with acceptable quality standards and in accordance with the corporate policies.
  • Supply Chain Management includes all standard purchasing as well as capital and project purchasing.
  • Participates with Senior Leadership in developing the strategic plan for purchasing and enterprise value analysis.
  • The position also directs Contract Negotiation and Management, Value Analysis, Mail Services, Relocation and Storage, Capital Purchasing, Linen Services, General Stores, Sterile Stores.
