We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Strategic Planning to join our Wealth Services Strategy team. This role is located in Jersey City, NJ. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Shape and driving the strategic initiatives within BNY by developing and executing strategic plans that align with BNY's objectives, fostering innovation and ensuring sustainable growth. Contribute to BNY's strategic pillars, ensuring that the organization remains competitive and forward-thinking in a dynamic market environment. Lead the formulation and implementation of strategic plans by analyzing market trends and organizational capabilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of strategic initiatives with business goals, demonstrating expertise in strategic planning methodologies. Facilitate the identification of growth opportunities and potential risks, providing strategic recommendations to senior leadership. Conduct in-depth analysis and prepare reports to monitor the progress of strategic projects, ensuring timely achievement of key milestones. Drive continuous improvement in strategic planning processes by integrating industry best practices and innovative approaches. Support the communication of strategic initiatives across the organization, fostering a culture of transparency and engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 3 or more years of related experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering collaboration and driving change.
  • Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives and influence decision-making at senior levels.

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
