About The Position

The Vice President, Strategic Business Operations at Mobia Medical is responsible for defining and maintaining the integrated product and clinical research roadmap, aligning market trends, AI-driven insights, and evolving stroke care models. This role involves collaborating on concept development, product requirement definitions, trial design, and publication strategies. Key responsibilities include leading market research, customer insight activities, and patient pathway innovation, leveraging AI and digital technologies to optimize care continuity across various touchpoints. The VP will also translate market and patient insights into strategic marketing roadmaps, partner with the VP of Strategy & Growth for commercial alignment, and develop value-based messaging. Furthermore, the position entails cross-functional leadership, serving as a liaison across clinical, commercial, R&D, and operations teams, overseeing sales training, and managing KOL relationships through strategic partnerships and advisory boards.

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the integrated product and clinical research roadmap, aligning market trends, AI-driven insights, and evolving stroke care models.
  • Collaborate on concept development and product requirement definitions with Product.
  • Collaborate on trial design and publication strategies with Medical Affairs.
  • Lead evolution of the Incidence and Onboarding Program to support scalable patient activation, training, and early engagement.
  • Own primary market research activities, including segmentation, unmet need discovery, advisory board leadership, and patient-centered focus groups to accelerate therapy acceptance and identify drivers of resistance.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to deeply understand the full spectrum of patient touchpoints, including home interaction, swipe versus click, and 60 minutes versus 90 minutes of therapy.
  • Leverage real-world feedback and behavioral analytics to optimize tools, tailoring experiences to both patients and at-home support stakeholders for increased usability, engagement, and clinical follow-through.
  • Develop and lead the patient journey roadmap, applying AI and digital technologies to map interactions and optimize care continuity across in-clinic, in-home, and digital touchpoints.
  • Investigate and establish protocols to identify and support key stakeholders in the home setting (caregivers, aides, remote clinicians).
  • Design and implement therapy follow-up programs and engagement strategies to improve long-term outcomes post-clinic intervention.
  • Translate market and patient insights into actionable strategic marketing roadmaps that guide innovation and go-to-market efforts.
  • Partner with the VP of Strategy & Growth to ensure alignment between marketing efforts, partnership opportunities, and business development strategy.
  • Develop value-based messaging frameworks tailored to economic decision-makers in hospital systems.
  • Serve as a critical liaison across clinical, commercial, R&D, and operations teams to ensure cohesive execution of business and clinical initiatives.
  • Oversee the planning and delivery of Sales Training programs and implement systems (e.g., Centers of Excellence, business reviews) to maximize sales team productivity and therapy adoption.
  • Ensure coordination and alignment on stim parameter titration, training protocols, and evolution of clinical pathways.
  • Develop and manage KOL relationships through strategic partnerships, advisory boards, and publication planning.
