About The Position

As a Vice President, Sales you will lead a regional sales organization focused on driving revenue growth, renewals, and product adoption across financial institution clients. You will partner with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and senior leadership to develop go-to-market strategies, win and expand enterprise agreements, and represent client needs across the business. Your leadership ensures disciplined pipeline management, repeatable sales processes, and measurable commercial outcomes.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of sales experience in payments, fintech, or enterprise technology selling to financial institutions or comparable enterprise clients.
  • 7+ years of experience managing and developing sales teams, including hiring, performance management, and quota setting.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and negotiating enterprise contracts.
  • Experience using CRM systems (for example, Salesforce) to manage pipeline, forecasts, and account plans.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling subscription or SaaS-based payment or digital banking solutions.
  • Familiarity with Fiserv products such as Clover from Fiserv or other Fiserv go-to-market offerings.
  • Experience partnering with Professional Services and Customer Success to drive post-sale adoption and expansion.
  • MBA or advanced sales leadership certification.

Responsibilities

  • Own quota attainment for your region by directing sales strategy, territory planning, pipeline development, and forecast accuracy.
  • Hire, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team; set individual and team goals, conduct performance reviews, and deliver ongoing coaching and career development.
  • Drive complex, consultative sales cycles with senior- and C-level executives; lead contract negotiations and coordinate legal and procurement engagement to close deals.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Professional Services, and Customer Success to create tailored solutions, refine value propositions, and accelerate product adoption and renewals.
  • Establish and enforce standardized sales processes, CRM usage, pipeline hygiene, and sales enablement to improve win rates and sales velocity.
  • Monitor account health and lead escalation resolution for major operational or service issues; partner with delivery teams to maintain client satisfaction and retention.
