More about our team The VP of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) will be responsible for overseeing the revenue generation and revenue cycle strategies and operations for Springstone. This individual will be responsible for the leadership and continued development of a creative revenue cycle function across the entire organization as it continues its growth. The VP of RCM will be responsible for a broad range of functions including Revenue Cycle, Fee Schedules, Coding and Collections, across all its payors including commercial insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, relevant state reimbursement funds, and self-pay. This executive will manage a team of approximately 40 FTE’s located in the Louisville, KY Corporate office and have matrix reporting relationships with an additional 60 FTEs located at our hospital locations. Additionally, The VP of RCM will directly supervisor the Director of CBO, Director of HIM, and two Directors of Business Office. Does not engage in any unfavorable behaviors such as rumors, inappropriate conversations, etc. Job Responsibilities: Oversees the continued development and enhancement of scalable Billing, Collections, Payor and Coding processes to support the current operations and anticipated growth of the company; Oversees management of billing and collections personnel, providing recommendations for hiring, promotion, salary adjustment and personnel action where appropriate; Manages relationships with the external billing and collections entities; Appropriately and proactively engages the Springstone Operations teams, including both site-level clinicians, and support personnel, who have an ability to positively or negatively impact the ability to efficiently, effectively, accurately, and compliantly bill and collect; Evaluates existing and emerging technology and outsourced services to consider the potential utility, acquisition, and implementation options for the enterprise. Continues to evaluate the cost and effectiveness of outsourcing vs. bringing these functions in-house; Develops and interprets policies and procedures, recommends changes as appropriate, and provides relevant feedback to the senior management team to meet department and organizational goals with respect to revenue recognition and collections; Supervises Director level positions directly and indirectly manages a team of 40+ full-time employees; Why join us We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. Requirements

  • Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in related fields.
  • Senior Revenue Cycle Management experience in a hospital billing environment is strongly preferred, along with deep experience in revenue cycle processes and third-party payor (both commercial and government) reimbursement.
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in Buisnss or Finance is strongly preferred.
  • The preferred candidate should have additional experience using and training team members on a multitude of payment strategies, extensions and loss mitigation, experience implementing or improving tracking reports and detailed accounts on all payment activity, and experience in collaborating across all levels and functions of a private equity or public company.
