Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), a standalone division of BlackRock, is a leading infrastructure investor that specializes in investing in, owning and operating some of the largest and most complex assets across the energy, transport, digital infrastructure and water and waste management sectors. In October 2024, BlackRock completed the acquisition of GIP, positioning GIP to continue to capitalize on the long-term structural trends driving infrastructure growth. GIP's proprietary origination networks and deep relationships across key sectors help identify premier assets and build successful joint-ventures with best-in-class strategic corporate partners and other leading investment firms. GIP leverages in-depth analysis and comprehensive operational expertise in proprietary origination, seeking to produce consistent and attractive returns across equity, and debt investment strategies. GIP & BlackRock manage a combined $183B, creating the largest global infrastructure investment platform. The companies in GIP's equity portfolios have combined annual revenues greater than $71 billion and employ approximately 116,000 people. Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), a part of BlackRock, anticipates significant further Infrastructure Equity product launches and fundraising activity in 2025 and beyond and is seeking a VP level candidate. As part of the GIP Infra Equity Product Strategy team the candidate will support product fundraising, new product launches, investor diligence and marketing collateral development, investor relations, and platform-strategic projects. The VP will support the launch and fundraising of Infra Equity products globally by working closely with internal stakeholders (investment teams and other BlackRock teams such as Client Businesses, Consultant Relations, Risk & Analytics, Legal & Compliance and Ops & Admin) and external clients. The role will have a particular focus on the newly launched GIP Transition Fund. The VP will also produce and quality check the investor diligence and investor relations needs of the business and serve as a bridge between the junior and senior Product Strategy Team. This role will be exposed to a variety of investment and investor themes, will develop a strong understanding of a range of investment strategies within Infra Equity and will work very closely with other members of the GIP Infrastructure teams. Presentation and communication skills are essential to this role, particularly the ability to distil complex investment concepts into plain language. Knowledge of the Infrastructure Equity or broader infrastructure investment environment is highly desirable.
