The company is seeking a highly motivated Vice President to join the Portfolio Management team, focusing on a core growth equity investment strategy. This role involves leading fund- and portfolio-level analytics, risk management, and strategic insights. The VP will collaborate with senior leadership, portfolio managers, investment teams, and cross-functional partners to monitor performance, manage risk, optimize capital deployment, and support the strategy's long-term growth and scalability. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, portfolio management, and strategic thinking skills, with experience working across various functions in a fast-paced, data-driven investment environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 8+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, portfolio management, corporate development, consulting, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and demonstrated ability to interpret financial and operating data and related management information
  • Proven track record of leading complex analytical workstreams, including performance analytics, forecasting, and/or risk management at the fund or portfolio level
  • Demonstrated experience working with large, complex datasets and building robust, scalable analytics and reporting
  • Proficiency in Excel required
  • Strong project management skills – including time management, prioritization, and sound judgment – with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with consistent, high-quality output and strong follow-through
  • Highly collaborative and capable of working effectively across functions and geographies; able to influence and partner with senior executives and stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise materials for senior audiences
  • Highly motivated, inquisitive, and a positive “can-do” attitude; comfortable working independently and proactively in a high-performing global organization

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Experience within alternative investments or growth equity strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with business intelligence / data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and/or data visualization / planning tools is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead portfolio- and fund-level analytics, including performance, risk, exposure, and concentration analyses across sectors, strategies, and vintages
  • Oversee the design and maintenance of strategy-specific dashboards and KPIs, providing clear, decision-useful insight to senior leadership, portfolio managers, and the Portfolio Committee
  • Analyze investment performance and returns (e.g., IRR, MOIC, DPI, TVPI, volatility, drawdowns) at both the company and fund/portfolio level and translate findings into actionable recommendations
  • Synthesize trends across the portfolio and macro data to identify emerging risks, opportunities, and strategic themes
  • Lead the quarterly financial and portfolio planning cycle, partnering with investment teams and Finance on forecasts, scenarios, and stress testing
  • Support and challenge portfolio projections, valuation drivers, and capital deployment plans to ensure alignment with investment, liquidity, and return objectives
  • Help shape and monitor risk frameworks, including exposure limits, sector and geography concentrations, pacing, and liquidity
  • Partner with Finance and Treasury on fund liquidity management, cash planning, and performance tracking
  • Partner closely with Capital Solutions on fundraising, product positioning, and ongoing LP communications and reporting
  • Collaborate with Fund Accounting, Finance, and Valuations to ensure consistency between portfolio analytics, NAV, and official books and records
  • Work with Legal & Compliance and Product teams to ensure portfolio management processes and reporting align with applicable regulatory and product requirements
  • Prepare high-quality materials and strategic updates for the Portfolio Committee, investment and oversight committees, Executive Committee, and key investors
  • Lead the continued build-out and enhancement of data models, reporting tools, and analytics, in partnership with Technology and Data teams
  • Leverage business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and drive adoption of AI-enabled analytics and automation to improve efficiency, insight generation, and scalability
  • Identify and drive process improvement initiatives to streamline data collection, validation, and analysis across the broader portfolio
  • Serve as a key contact on portfolio topics for senior leadership, investment teams, and cross-functional partners
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and mentorship to junior members of the Portfolio Management team (e.g., Analysts/Associates)
  • Demonstrate strong stakeholder management, building trusted relationships across Investment, Capital Solutions, Finance, Legal/Compliance, Valuations, Operations, and Technology
