If you enjoy working in a creative, fast-paced environment, then we would love to hear from you! — Who you are: As the VP, Planning and Allocation for North America, you are a strategic and highly collaborative leader responsible for overseeing and managing the Planning and Allocation function across all categories (Women’s and Men’s) and all channels including full-price, outlet, and ecommerce. You build the processes, tools, and planning rigor needed to support revenue and profit growth for the North America retail business, ensuring clear planning calendars, accurate forecasts, actionable analysis, and strong cross-functional partnerships. What You’ll Do: Oversee a best-in-class planning and allocation function defining the process, calendar, roles and responsibilities to maximize sales and profitability. Take a leadership role in managing merchandise plans, forecasting processes, planning calendar and development of actionable analysis. Build partnership with cross functional teams to action on strategies to support business opportunities. Partner with finance during initial planning phase to create seasonal, monthly and weekly plans and forecasts for sales, inventory and gross margin. Monitor performance and partner with cross functional teams to develop financial strategies to achieve plans. Initiate and develop actionable analysis to recap business by classification and subclass at a top-line as well as channel level in order to partner with buying team to create strategies to drive sales and achieve gross margin profitability. Recommend buys based on thorough analysis of channel level business prior to each market to achieve increased sales, profitability and sell-thru % by class and segment. Work with cross functional team to analyze business by channel & door to maximize sales and stock opportunities. Monitor flow of initial assortments as well as reorders to stores by classification and by style. Recap business by classification, color and size and create best seller/hindsight reports on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to allow for thorough analysis of the business and smarter buys on a go-forward basis. Produce weekly reports recapping sales, inventory and gross margin vs. plan and projection by department, classification and door. Responsible for growth and development of planning and allocation team.
