About The Position

The Vice President, Organizational Capability & Talent is a senior enterprise leader responsible for ensuring V2X has the organizational structures, leadership capability, and workforce readiness required to execute its strategy and deliver mission-critical outcomes. This role provides end-to-end leadership for organizational design, organizational development, leadership and talent development, enterprise capability development, and learning and training. The role operates as both a strategic thought leader and a hands-on operator, shaping enterprise-wide approaches to organizational effectiveness while building scalable systems, governance, and programs that perform across a global, program-based, and regulated environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or similar study
  • 15+ years progressive experience in org design, OD, talent or leadership development, or learning
  • Enterprise leadership experience in large, complex organizations (preferably global)
  • Proven executive advisory and influence capability.
  • Experience operating in regulated or mission-critical environments.
  • Experience leading and developing globally disperse teams
  • M&A experience
  • United States Citizenship required
  • At least 20% of travel will be required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance, as applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise organizational design aligned to business strategy and mission needs.
  • Advise senior leaders on operating models, spans and layers, and workforce implications.
  • Partner on restructures, integrations, and organizational realignments.
  • Establish a consistent enterprise Organizational Development (OD) and change framework
  • Lead major change initiatives with focus on adoption and sustainment.
  • Improve organizational health, accountability, and execution discipline
  • Lead research and diagnostic efforts to increase organizational capability
  • Define an enterprise capability framework across leadership, technical, and operational domains
  • Oversee training strategy supporting readiness, compliance, and future skills.
  • Ensure scalable, measurable training delivery.
  • Oversee and manage Development Planning and Goal Setting Processes
  • Own leadership development strategy from frontline through executive levels.
  • Design leadership programs that build enterprise capability and succession readiness.
  • Lead succession planning and talent review processes.
  • Lead learning infrastructure, platforms, content strategy, and partnerships
  • Establish governance and prioritization for learning investments
  • Track metrics tied to readiness, engagement, and bench strength
