About The Position

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Vice President of Operations to lead and scale manufacturing operations across multiple divisions. This executive role is responsible for translating company strategy into operational excellence—driving safety, quality, delivery, cost, and workforce effectiveness while building scalable systems that support long-term growth. The VP of Operations will lead leaders, standardize operations, and champion continuous improvement while minimizing operational risk in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Industrial Management, Supply Chain, Safety, or related field
  • 15+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience
  • 7–10+ years in senior leadership roles overseeing multiple facilities
  • Background in plant or production leadership (e.g., Plant Manager)
  • Proven ability to lead leaders and scale organizations
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes, ERP systems, and quality management systems
  • Strong financial acumen, including P&L ownership
  • Ability to drive results in complex, multi-site operations

  • Lean, Six Sigma Black Belt, PMP, or similar certifications preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute long-term manufacturing and operations strategies aligned with business growth and customer demand
  • Lead all production and operational activities across four divisions
  • Establish consistent operating rhythms, performance reviews, and escalation processes
  • Align operational capacity with sales demand and delivery commitments
  • Directly lead, coach, and develop divisional operations leaders
  • Set clear priorities, expectations, and performance targets
  • Build leadership bench strength and succession plans
  • Drive a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
  • Own and drive operational KPIs including safety, quality, delivery, labor efficiency, and cost
  • Standardize metrics and reporting across divisions
  • Lead corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Champion Lean, Six Sigma, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodologies
  • Partner closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Engineering, HR, and Finance
  • Support automation, capital projects, and process optimization initiatives
  • Lead operational budgeting, cost controls, and capital planning
  • Full P&L responsibility for manufacturing operations
  • Accountability for operating budgets and capital expenditures (CapEx)
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks and lead responses to major disruptions
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and EH&S standards
  • Lead adoption of Industry 4.0 practices including automation, robotics, and advanced data analytics
