Superior Completion Services is excited to be seeking a Vice President of Quality for our Completion Office in Houston, TX. The Vice President of Quality is a strategic executive leader who champions excellence across Superior Completion Services’ global operations. This role shapes and advances a world‑class quality vision that is embedded into every product, process, and decision, ensuring our solutions not only meet industry standards, but set them. As the architect of a robust, enterprise‑wide quality culture, the VP of Quality drives continuous improvement, regulatory confidence, and customer trust while partnering across the business to deliver safe, reliable, and high‑performance downhole completion solutions. This leader plays a critical role in protecting the company’s reputation, accelerating operational excellence, and supporting long‑term growth in a demanding and evolving energy landscape.

Requirements

  • Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline required.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive quality leadership experience in oilfield services, manufacturing, or a related energy sector.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree, MBA, or quality management certifications (e.g., ASQ CQE) strongly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of downhole completion systems, service tools, or wellbore technologies is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the company’s global quality vision, strategy, and performance framework across all business units and regions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer specifications, and international regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, API, OSHA).
  • Oversee the design and execution of quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) programs across manufacturing, field operations, engineering, and supply chain.
  • Lead root cause investigations, non‑conformance management, and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
  • Establish and track quality KPIs, dashboards, and benchmarks to improve product reliability, service consistency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Suite programs.
  • Lead and mentor a global team of Quality Managers, Engineers, and Compliance Specialists.
  • Develop talent pipelines and succession plans for key roles within the Quality function.
  • Set individual and team performance goals aligned with company-wide quality objectives.
  • Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and customer-centric problem solving.
