About The Position

LSI is currently seeking a leader to serve as the Vice President of Programs and Strategy Development . This position provides leadership to LSI programs and services and drives the implementation of agency strategy. What We Do As one of Iowa's most trusted human services agencies, LSI has a legacy of serving children and families for more than 160 years in multiple communities across Iowa. LSI is accredited by the Council on Accreditation for families and Children. What You'll Do The successful candidate will oversee and direct the development and delivery of all LSI programs and services to ensure achievement of outcomes and performance goals within budgeted guidelines. Provide oversight to the service quality program to ensure COA accreditation. Directly supervise all Service Directors and the Director of Service Quality. Initiate, facilitate, and drive LSI's ongoing strategic plan implementation and execution. Orchestrates change in policy and program matters, making or recommending appropriate policy decisions. Serves as a member of the senior leadership team with specific responsibilities for providing leadership and operational management to service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in health or human service-related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of successful human service program experience
  • Five years of supervisory experience
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, a good driving record and the ability to pass an extensive background check including checks of the Dependent Adult and Child Abuse registries, Sex Offender registry and a criminal history check.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in social work, public administration or related human service field
  • At least two years' experience in a senior leadership position
