Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Organizational Development, or a related field At least five (5) years of experience managing a team of human resources professionals Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible experience overseeing core HR functions, including workforce planning, recruitment, talent development, total rewards, compensation strategy, and performance management Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders Strong commitment to exceptional service for employees and students, with a collaborative and inclusive mindset Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills to operate within complex systems and HRIS platforms Proven management and leadership skills to effectively lead and support a team of seven or more HR professionals Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field SHRM - SCP , SPHR , or other advanced HR certification Experience working in higher education or mission-driven, unionized environments Demonstrated success leading organizational change, workforce planning, and cultural transformation initiatives Knowledge of federal and state employment laws, labor relations, and compliance frameworks relevant to higher education Experience with strategic planning, equity-centered policy development, and cross-functional collaboration at the senior leadership level Familiarity with HRIS systems such as Banner, PeopleAdmin, or similar platforms
