About The Position

The Vice President of Home Health is responsible for the overall development, management, and growth of the Home Health for the Company. This position will guide the operations of the home health business units to achieve strategic business goals in growth, quality service, program delivery, and staff retention. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, health administration or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing and developing a multi-product, regional home care within an integrated healthcare system
  • Current and valid Texas RN Licensure preferred; necessary
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of all aspects of home health services
  • Superior marketing and business development skills in negotiating major contracts and forming solid relationships with large referral sources
  • Must have proven experience in effective leadership
  • Highly developed management, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to evaluate, revise, and implement systems
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
  • Ability to travel in various forms of transportation with overnight stay

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Current and valid Texas RN Licensure preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership on matters related to regional and local trends in home health services for the Company
  • Develop and implement short and long-range strategic goals and objectives to ensure strong fiscal management and long-term viability of the business units
  • Integrate home health services with other affiliate services, allowing the Company to provide a truly seamless continuum of services to its patients.
  • Develop, document, revise and evaluate programs and communication (policies, procedures, Key Factor reports, and P & L’s) for home health employees and leaders to ensure appropriate support for sustainable growth
  • Expand home health services in scope, volume and geographic coverage to meet the needs of its clients through aggressive marketing, business development and leadership
  • Instill in employees and support the Company vision, mission, and quality values
  • Maintain services, systems, and procedures to assure compliance with licensure regulations and standards
  • Ensure that each service agency is in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulatory agencies
  • Ensure annually that independent contractors and agents who furnish services to the company are aware of the applicable requirements of the Compliance Program
  • Drive the financial success of the home health through continuous evaluation and monitoring of financial reports to achieve or exceed budget projections
  • Oversee the hiring, training, and maintenance of high-quality staff at all levels and ensure they are held responsible for carrying out duties related to the management and operations of the Company
  • Perform tasks assigned by the Chief Executive Officer.
