Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Active Kentucky Nursing Home Administrator License (LNHA) required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in long-term care leadership
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid, state regulations, and survey processes
  • Proficiency with PointClickCare and related healthcare systems
  • Demonstrated ability to manage financials, lead teams, and drive continuous improvement

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, organize, and direct facility programs and activities to ensure quality resident care.
  • Oversee all operations of the skilled nursing facility, including nursing, dining, social services, and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Review policies and procedures regularly, implementing updates to maintain compliance and operational effectiveness.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor department directors to build a high-performing, compassionate team.
  • Oversee facility participation in surveys and inspections, prepare plans of correction, and ensure timely compliance.
  • Prepare annual operating budgets, monitor expenditures, and allocate resources efficiently.
  • Uphold resident rights, privacy, and dignity in all aspects of care and service delivery.
  • Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and regulatory partners.
