About The Position

The Vice President of Global Manufacturing will be responsible for leading and standardizing ZincFive’s global manufacturing operations across the United States and China. This executive will establish best-in-class process engineering, drive successful technology transfer to U.S. operations, scale U.S. manufacturing capacity, and oversee global systems manufacturing and facilities management. The VP will play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence, supply chain efficiency, and consistent product quality across all manufacturing sites. This role may be worked remotely or onsite at ZincFive headquarters in Tualatin, Oregon and reports to the Sr VP of Operations, Supply Chain & Planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership in global manufacturing, with direct experience managing facilities in the U.S. and Asia
  • Proven success in process standardization, technology transfer, and scaling operations
  • Strong track record in systems manufacturing and large-scale assembly environments
  • Deep understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and advanced process control systems
  • Experience in facilities management, capital project planning, and regulatory compliance
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-cultural management skills
  • Ensure all operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications such as Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), APICS CPIM or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer
  • Master’s degree Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field
  • 15+ years of manufacturing leadership with direct oversight of multiple sites or global operations
  • Experience in technology transfer and scaling new facilities, ideally across U.S. and Asia
  • Background in process engineering, lean manufacturing, and automation
  • Track record of successfully implementing global quality and safety standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA)
  • Experience managing facilities and capital expansion projects

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for all manufacturing operations worldwide, ensuring alignment with company growth, quality, and cost objectives
  • Establish and enforce global manufacturing standards, policies, and processes to achieve operational consistency and scalability
  • Oversee systems manufacturing, including cabinet integration and assembly, ensuring quality and efficiency at all sites
  • Lead the standardization of process engineering practices across U.S. and China facilities
  • Ensure alignment of manufacturing methods, process controls, automation, and quality systems
  • Drive technology transfer from China to U.S. manufacturing, ensuring smooth adoption of proven methods and best practices
  • Develop and maintain global documentation, process control, and continuous improvement frameworks
  • Lead the build-out and expansion of U.S. manufacturing capacity, including facility design, equipment deployment, and staffing
  • Establish operational KPIs and reporting systems to monitor progress and performance
  • Partner with executive leadership to ensure capital investments deliver expected ROI
  • Oversee global manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
  • Manage facility planning, expansion projects, and equipment installations
  • Ensure manufacturing sites are optimized for efficiency, safety, and future growth
  • Collaborate with Global Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Aftermarket leadership to ensure seamless product lifecycle support
  • Partner with product development teams to ensure manufacturing readiness for new product introductions
  • Provide manufacturing input into strategic sourcing, supplier qualification, and global capacity planning
