About The Position

The Vice President of Finance is a senior financial leader responsible for overseeing the company’s financial strategy, planning, reporting, and controls. This role partners closely with executive leadership to drive financial performance, support strategic initiatives, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and accounting standards. The Vice President of Finance will lead the finance and accounting functions while providing strategic insight to support the company’s long-term growth and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; MBA and/or CPA preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, including significant leadership responsibility
  • Prior experience in a senior finance role such as Vice President of Finance, Director of Finance, Controller, or similar
  • Strong expertise in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
  • Deep knowledge of GAAP; experience with SOX compliance and internal controls preferred (if applicable)
  • Proven experience overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, audits, and tax compliance
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships
  • Experience supporting M&A activities, including due diligence and integration, a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights
  • Proven people leader with experience building, mentoring, and scaling finance teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner effectively with executive leadership and cross-functional teams
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • MBA and/or CPA preferred
  • Deep knowledge of GAAP; experience with SOX compliance and internal controls preferred (if applicable)
  • Experience supporting M&A activities, including due diligence and integration, a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial strategy
  • Oversee accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and financial reporting
  • Ensure accurate, timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships
  • Oversee internal controls, audits, tax compliance, and enterprise risk management
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX (if applicable), and other regulatory requirements
  • Support mergers and acquisitions activity, including due diligence and post-transaction integration, as applicable
  • Provide financial analysis, insights, and decision support to executive leadership and key stakeholders
  • Partner cross-functionally to support strategic initiatives and operational improvements
  • Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team
