About The Position

Pediatric Home Service (PHS) is seeking a Vice President of Compliance to oversee, coordinate, and monitor day-to-day compliance activities and ensure the organization maintains the highest standards of regulatory and ethical practices. This role serves as the central point of accountability for the organizations Compliance Program, guiding policies, procedures, and staff training while mitigating risk.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 410 years of healthcare compliance, risk management, or clinical leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, privacy, and information security standards.
  • Proven leadership skills, including team management, strategic planning, and cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and translate them into operational policies.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in home healthcare, pediatric care, or infusion services.
  • Knowledge of accreditation standards (ACHC, URAC, The Joint Commission).
  • Experience leading compliance programs through organizational growth or transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of the Compliance Program, including policies, procedures, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for compliance matters with the CAO, CEO, executive team, board, and external regulatory agencies.
  • Investigate compliance concerns, respond to allegations of violations, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure privacy and information security compliance, including HIPAA adherence and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and deliver compliance training programs for staff, leadership, and business associates.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation of compliance and privacy activities.
  • Monitor changes in federal, state, and industry regulations, ensuring policies are updated proactively.
  • Support organizational strategic goals by aligning compliance initiatives with operational priorities.
  • Supervise compliance staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and fostering professional development.
  • Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and patient safety across the organization.
