This role is accountable for translating executive vision into operational execution across Security Engineers’ national field workforce. The VP-NFO holds enterprise responsibility for the deployment, performance, compliance, service quality, and financial productivity of all security-deployed labor. As the senior operational authority, the VP-NFO serves as the final escalation point for internal and external matters and represents Security Engineers with clients, partners, and industry organizations. Core Responsibilities Executive Leadership & People Management Lead, mentor, and succession-plan a geographically dispersed management organization, including divisional, regional, and departmental leaders. Establish and maintain KPIs, operational standards, and performance expectations across National Field Operations. Partner with Human Resources as final escalation authority for complex employee relations matters. Review and approve involuntary separations, promotions, compensation changes, and exceptions to the Wage Escalation Program (WEP). Apply sound risk, legal, and people-management judgment in collaboration with HR, Legal, Risk, Safety, and Insurance. Operational Oversight & Compliance Provide executive oversight of all National Field Operations functions, including Field Operations, Training, Operations Administration, NexCom, Field Support Center, and Territory Reconnaissance. Ensure compliance with company policies, client contracts, service level agreements, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Client & Stakeholder Relations Serve as senior escalation point for significant client concerns and operational challenges. Resolve issues using process mapping and root-cause analysis. Build and maintain executive-level client relationships. Conduct or delegate security assessments, client training, and client engagement activities. Growth & Industry Leadership Partner with Sales on labor modeling, proposal development, and executive-level presentations. Represent Security Engineers as a public-facing industry leader through conferences, professional organizations, and speaking engagements. Financial Accountability Maintain full P&L responsibility for National Field Operations and deployed labor assets. Drive efficiency, margin improvement, and workforce productivity. Collaborate with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and financial initiatives. Physical & Travel Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform standard office tasks. Ability to walk up to ½ mile and climb up to 20 stairs. Frequent regional and national travel to support operations, executive meetings, and client engagements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of security industry experience
  • Experience managing large, geographically dispersed teams
  • Proven P&L responsibility
  • Scaled experience hiring, developing, and separating employees
  • Strong client management experience, including QBRs
  • Sales process participation and executive presentation skills
  • Experience with WinTeam or comparable ERP systems
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • State Issued Driver's License (Not Expired)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Criminal Justice, or related field
  • Direct sales experience
  • Security industry certifications (or obtained within first year)
  • Security management certifications (CPP, PSP)
  • Alabama Security Regulatory Board License, preferred
  • Able to obtain any & all security certifications/licenses
  • Bachelor’s in Risk Management, Business, HR, Law, or related field, preferred.
