About The Position

As Vice President of Produce & Floral Merchandising, you will lead the strategic vision and execution for Sprouts’ Produce & Floral categories nationwide. This role drives growth, innovation, and operational excellence while ensuring a best-in-class customer experience. You will collaborate across Merchandising, Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Analytics to deliver sustainable business results and position Sprouts as a destination for fresh, high-quality, differentiated produce and floral offerings. #LI-AD1

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ Years of retail management experience, and 15+ years of retail merchandising experience.
  • Proven track record of driving sustainable growth through strategic and operational excellence.
  • Expertise in supplier relationships, supply chain, and category management.
  • Strong knowledge of merchandising, supply planning, and forecasting.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement systems and optimize business processes.
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to innovation, customer experience, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute short- and long-term merchandising strategies to drive growth and profitability.
  • Champion innovation and sustainability initiatives to differentiate Sprouts in the marketplace.
  • Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and Marketing to align on pricing, promotions, and marketing strategies.
  • Translate consumer trends into compelling assortments that meet financial targets and customer expectations.
  • Oversee supplier negotiations, pricing, and promotional strategies to exceed business results.
  • Lead sourcing, procurement, replenishment, and inventory management strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and implement preventative measures.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing team; foster a culture of curiosity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive change management initiatives and encourage innovative thinking.
  • Establish and monitor vendor performance metrics; hold partners accountable for service levels, funding, and compliance.
  • Conduct regular store and supplier visits to identify opportunities and strengthen relationships.
