About The Position

The Vice President, Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT) serves as the enterprise-level technical leader responsible for ensuring Agilent’s manufacturing network is robust, scalable, and future-ready. This role defines and drives the global strategy for process technologies, technology transfer, scale-up, validation, and sustained manufacturing performance across multiple product lines and geographies. As Agilent’s portfolio expands and customer expectations for quality, speed, and supply continuity intensify, the MSAT function becomes a critical enabler of the company’s long-term growth. The VP MSAT ensures that innovations developed in R&D can be efficiently industrialized, scaled, and produced at global volumes with predictable reliability. This requires strong technical leadership, integration across the value chain, and the ability to embed standardized methods, digital tools, and advanced analytics into daily manufacturing practice. This role is central to building Agilent’s next-generation manufacturing capability—one that reduces variability, accelerates time-to-market, mitigates supply risk, and delivers best-in-industry performance. The VP MSAT plays a vital role in shaping how new technologies are introduced, how processes mature over their lifecycle, and how the global network responds to increasing complexity, regulatory expectations, and emerging market needs. Success in this role requires both deep technical mastery and enterprise-scale leadership. The VP MSAT must assess and anticipate global capacity needs, elevate process capability, and architect technical solutions that enable rapid growth. They serve as the senior technical authority within Operations, guiding investment decisions, capability development, and strategy execution to ensure Agilent’s manufacturing network can scale with speed, efficiency, and uncompromising quality.
