About The Position

This opportunity is with a private equity-backed field services organization operating across the United States within the traffic infrastructure industry. The company is experiencing significant growth through both organic expansion and strategic acquisitions, and it is seeking a seasoned Vice President of Integration to lead post-merger integration activities, drive synergy realization, and align people, systems, and processes under a unified operating model. The Vice President of Integration will play a key leadership role in shaping and executing the company's integration strategy following mergers, acquisitions, and other transformative events. Reporting to the Chief Transformation Officer, this executive will oversee integration planning and execution across all functions, ensuring operational continuity, cultural alignment, and the realization of strategic objectives. This position offers a highly visible platform for an experienced integration leader to make a measurable impact within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience, including 3+ years in M&A integration, transformation, or corporate development.
  • Proven success leading multi-functional integration initiatives in fast-paced corporate environments.
  • Strong understanding of systems integration, business operations, and organizational change management.
  • Adaptability, resilience, and sound judgment in complex, fast-moving environments.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA preferred.
  • Experience working in private equity-backed or high-growth companies is highly preferred.
  • PMP, Prosci, or Six Sigma certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive integration strategy for newly acquired or merged entities, aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Establish governance frameworks, success metrics, and communication protocols for integration initiatives.
  • Serve as the executive sponsor for cross-functional integration workstreams.
  • Stand up and lead an Integration Management Office (IMO) to coordinate all integration activities.
  • Develop and manage the master integration plan, ensuring alignment of milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
  • Oversee resource allocation across all workstreams, including Finance, HR, IT, Operations, Legal, and Sales.
  • Partner with business and functional leaders to tailor integration plans to each business unit.
  • Facilitate collaboration between acquired entities and existing operations to ensure business continuity.
  • Identify, quantify, and track cost and revenue synergies in partnership with Finance and business unit leaders.
  • Monitor integration progress and report on synergy realization against deal targets.
  • Lead change management initiatives to ensure alignment and engagement across all levels of the organization.
  • Partner with HR to drive cultural integration, leadership alignment, and employee communication strategies.
  • Provide regular updates to executive leadership, the board, and investors regarding integration performance and key milestones.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor on integration challenges, risks, and opportunities.
  • Conduct post-integration reviews to identify lessons learned and enhance future integration playbooks.
  • Develop tools, templates, and best practices to support consistent, repeatable integration processes.
