About The Position

B Generous is creating the modern financial infrastructure nonprofits need to access capital, scale their mission, and deliver greater impact. Through our lending marketplace, nonprofits can apply for financing and be matched with mission-aligned capital providers, including banks, credit unions, CDFIs, family offices, and institutional lenders. Our platform helps nonprofits access capital faster while giving lenders access to a highly curated and underserved market. We have also launched the Impact Credit Fund (ICF), a private credit fund dedicated exclusively to nonprofit lending. Our goal is simple: prove that mission-driven lending can also be strong-performing credit. B Generous is a post–Series A company with strong momentum and growing institutional support, positioning the company to scale its lending marketplace and capital platform over the coming years. As we scale the company and move toward our next stage of growth, we are building the leadership team that will help define the future of nonprofit finance. We are looking for a Vice President, Lending & Originations, to lead and scale our loan origination engine. This is a high-impact, player-coach leadership role responsible for building and managing lender relationships, developing broker and referral partner networks, consulting on marketing and sales strategy, and overseeing the end-to-end origination workflow. This role sits at the center of B Generous’ lending platform. You will own the full origination lifecycle, from sourcing new lending partners and broker networks to managing the pipeline of nonprofit borrowers to driving loan volume through the marketplace. This role combines two core areas of responsibility. On one side, you will oversee the full lending and origination process, managing the internal credit and loan coordination team, and ensuring the company consistently meets its lending KPIs, including loan volume, approval rates, and time-to-close. At the same time, this is a hands-on role focused on expanding B Generous’ lending partner network. You will actively source and develop relationships with banks, credit unions, CDFIs, private credit funds, and other institutional capital providers, helping bring new lenders onto the marketplace and strengthening the company’s capital base. This includes supporting efforts to establish additional lending capacity, such as a warehouse lending facility. Success in this role requires someone who is comfortable both leading the internal lending engine and building the external lender ecosystem that allows the marketplace to grow. You will work closely with Credit & Risk, Product, Marketing, and company leadership to ensure our lending infrastructure scales alongside the business. The right person for this role brings a strong mix of lending expertise, operational leadership, and commercial instinct, someone comfortable owning outcomes and building systems that help the marketplace grow.
