The Vice President, Insurance, Institutional Client Group will have relevant experience and skills to meaningfully contribute to the develop and expansion of long-term commercial relationships with clients in the North America Insurance sector and their global activities. The candidate will be responsible for growing revenues derived from Capital Financing (Debt Capital Markets, Credit & Lending, Acquisition Finance, Asset Finance) Global Markets (Credit Sales, Cash Equities, Interest Rate & Equity Derivatives, Foreign Exchange), Transaction Service (Cash & Liquidity Management, Securities & Trust Services and Global Trade & Receivables Finance) and investment management solutions through HSBC Asset Management. The individual will be evaluated on their ability to both successfully defend and service existing business, as well as to originate new value-added transactions for assigned clients. We expect the individual to help us "up-tier" access and deepen our strategic dialogue with key decision makers at our clients. In addition to the commercial aspects of the position, the selected candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the relationship management function for their coverage portfolio-including oversight of credit, KYC (know your customer) and/or internal projects and initiatives, as they arise.
