The Vice President, HR Operations and Technology, is a strategic, innovative, and service‑oriented leader responsible for transforming the HR service delivery ecosystem. This role oversees HR operations, shared services, service technology, knowledge management, workflow automation, and data governance. The VP leads the end‑to-end modernization of HR processes, systems, and service models, ensuring employees, managers, and HR partners receive an exceptional experience supported by integrated technology and streamlined workflows. A key mandate is to build a market‑facing partnership and concierge function that aligns HR support with field, business unit, and market leader needs. The role also establishes best‑in-class service automation, evaluates and implements core service platforms, and drives integration with systems including UKG, Salesforce, and related workflow solutions.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive HR operations, HR technology, or shared services leadership experience.
  • Experience designing and leading large‑scale transformation.
  • Expertise with UKG and Salesforce workflow integration.
  • Proven experience selecting and implementing HR service platforms.
  • Strong background in process optimization and automation.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Build, optimize, and scale a centralized HR Shared Service Center delivering high‑quality, high‑touch support.
  • Stand up a market partnership/concierge function serving as a primary liaison for field and business leaders.
  • Establish service standards, SLAs, performance metrics, and a continuous improvement framework.
  • Drive a culture of service excellence focused on responsiveness, empathy, accuracy, and operational rigor.
  • Define and execute the HR technology strategy and roadmap.
  • Lead evaluation, selection, and deployment of a modern HR service platform.
  • Drive seamless integration across platforms including UKG, Salesforce, and new HR service technologies.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, system enhancements, upgrades, and architecture governance.
  • Build a best‑in-class automation strategy across HR leveraging AI‑assisted workflows and RPA.
  • Identify automation opportunities to eliminate manual work and improve speed and accuracy.
  • Partner with IT and cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver scalable automation solutions.
  • Develop a comprehensive knowledge management strategy.
  • Stand up a highly intuitive knowledge portal for employees, managers, and HR teams.
  • Ensure alignment across HR COEs, legal, compliance, and communications.
  • Lead adoption, communication, and change management efforts.
  • Conduct end‑to-end process mapping, redesign, and optimization.
  • Implement Lean, Six Sigma, or service design methodologies.
  • Partner across Finance, IT, Legal, Operations, and business units to create harmonized processes.
  • Oversee HR data governance, quality standards, and reporting frameworks.
  • Develop dashboards and analytics supporting workforce insights and service performance.
  • Ensure compliance with privacy, security, and audit requirements.
  • Build and lead high‑performing teams across HR operations, shared services, technology, and concierge functions.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer‑centricity.
  • Manage budget planning, workforce design, and external partnerships.
