We are looking for a Vice President to join the Healthcare Group in the New York office to focus on Healthcare Services. Lazard’s Healthcare Services franchise is focused on mergers & acquisitions, financings and capital structure, restructurings, and shareholder activism, among other situations. The New York-based team is a key part of Lazard’s Global Healthcare Group, which spans healthcare services, biopharma and medical devices, life science tools, and diagnostics.

Requirements

• At least four years of investment banking experience, with at least 60% Healthcare M&A experience preferred
• Knowledge of the Healthcare Services industry and landscape
• Demonstrated team player attitude and leadership qualities with strong motivation to contribute to a positive team culture
• Top academic performance with comfort operating in an unstructured environment which values initiative, creativity, and maturity
• Ability to support, manage, and empower junior bankers
• Strong client and presentation skills
• Strong quantitative background and analytical skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to manage a variety of transactions and projects simultaneously
• Bachelor’s degree or higher required

Responsibilities

• Perform financial analyses and create models
• Prepare and create client presentations and marketing materials
• Interact with client senior executives
• Manage deal processes
• Provide guidance to and supervise Associates and Analysts
