The Vice President of Commercial Services serves as a key member of our leadership team, responsible for setting and executing the strategic vision for MasterCorp Commercial Services (MCS) across a diverse portfolio of healthcare and commercial facilities. This role encompasses full accountability for operational performance, service delivery, customer satisfaction, compliance, and financial outcomes. You will position MCS as the industry leader in exceptional commercial cleaning, driving innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence throughout the organization. This is a remote position with frequent travel. Ideally, candidate will be on East Coast time zone, with accessibility to a major airport. Ideal locations can include, Washington DC Metro, Charlotte/Raleigh NC, or Atlanta GA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business, or related field | equivalent years of experience
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in multi-site healthcare Environmental Services operations or commercial services
  • Proven track record in supporting operations, new business, and client retention strategies within the environmental services and facilities operations, hospitals and healthcare systems.
  • Experience overseeing the sales process for new clients with particular competency around the costing of new business using industry benchmarks.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience managing vendor contracts, multi-site operations, and service line optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
  • Strong financial acumen, negotiation skills, and leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed organization with complex stakeholder needs.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership and Service Delivery: Develop, implement, and oversee commercial services strategies that enhance operational efficiency, and elevate the experiences of patients, caregivers, and clients. Advise executive and operational leaders on support services delivery, vendor partnerships, and service innovation.
  • Operational Management and Compliance: Provide leadership for day-to-day operations across multiple sites or regions, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, infection prevention protocols, and company service policies. Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety at all sites.
  • Financial Oversight: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost-saving initiatives at the client, divisional, and corporate levels. Monitor and drive key performance indicators (KPIs), service-level agreements (SLAs), and financial performance to ensure efficiency and profitability.
  • Vendor, Contract, and Client Relationship Management: Oversee vendor relationships, including contract negotiation, performance evaluation, and exploration of insourcing versus outsourcing. Lead the development and closing of profitable bids, manage new client onboarding, and maintain strong business relationships with current and prospective clients. Ensure all contractual obligations are met and identify opportunities for service expansion and acquisitions.
  • Team Leadership and Talent Development: Recruit, select, mentor, and develop leaders and team members. Promote a culture of service excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. Execute talent reviews, provide ongoing feedback, and minimize turnover through effective training and associate relations.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work cross-functionally with clinical, administrative, and facilities teams to align support services with organizational priorities. Serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders, external partners, and suppliers. Communicate regularly with corporate teams to ensure operational accuracy and resolve issues.
