Currently, we have an immediate opening for a Vice President, Growth to join our team! The Vice President, Growth is responsible for leading the strategy, direction, and objectives for the Regional Offices, Virtual Branch, Consumer Lending, and Real Estate teams. In addition to continuing to evolve the policies, practices, processes, technology and systems across the member experience domains in support of the overall business plan, the Vice President will lead all efforts to support the mission, vision, and core values set forth by the credit union through member service, organizational efficiency, and cost effectiveness. This includes championing a culture of growth (sales, revenue, and membership), accountability, performance, and innovation — aligning teams, processes, and technology to achieve measurable financial success and consistent legendary service.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in managing member, customer, or client facing teams.
  • Minimum 8 years’ of experience in banking/credit union.
  • Minimum 8 years’ of experience managing multiple branch locations.
  • Minimum 5 years’ of lending.
  • Minimum 2 years’ of experience supporting a call center environment.
  • Proven sales experience, demonstrating success in member engagement, relationship building, product referrals, and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Creating and driving a performance-driven culture with clear metrics for member engagement, sales effectiveness, and service quality.
  • Maintaining a pulse of the evolving member experience landscape by attending and leveraging seminars and conferences that are specific to the fire industry and within financial services to help lead, support, and drive the strategic goals of the organization.
  • Continually improving our member services and optimizing processes and systems throughout the member services organization and monitoring member survey feedback and other key indicators to drive legendary service.
  • Ensuring the consumer and real estate lending functions achieve strong loan growth, portfolio diversification, and sound credit quality through consultative, white glove, services that enhances member satisfaction, and leverage market insights, trends, and competitive analysis to drive innovation and responsiveness.
  • Building, managing, and maintaining relationships with fire industry leaders in support of national expansion initiatives and events that include branch and virtual branch teams.
  • Regularly meeting with each team member to coach and mentor to ensure alignment around FFCU’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Providing team members with training, tools, and resources to successfully perform their jobs.
  • Holding teams accountable for meeting all service level agreements, ensuring the team’s work is accurate/efficient, and providing coaching, feedback, or training as needed.
  • Providing and ensuring development opportunities are available for team members as part of their overall career path with the Credit Union.
  • Leading change by identifying opportunities that consistently raise the bar and improve service levels.
  • Assisting the Credit Union with executing the business plan of the organization.
