About The Position

Eaton's Mobility Group is seeking a dynamic Vice President, Global Integrated Operations to be based in Southfield, Michigan. What you'll do: Reporting to the Mobility Group President, the Vice President of Global Integrated Operations is a key member of the senior leadership team for Eaton's Mobility Group ($3.5B in annual revenue, with a $6B revenue goal by 2030, across 28 manufacturing sites and ~12,000 employees) and is responsible for developing and executing the strategy for Global Operations and Supply Chain to optimize performance. The Vice President will be a visionary and passionate leader, driving a culture of collaboration across Manufacturing and Supply Chain as part of an integrated team. This executive role will oversee manufacturing operations, operational excellence, continuous improvement, procurement of direct/indirect materials, quality, supplier quality, Industry 4.0, advanced manufacturing / engineering and structural transformations, to achieve World Class Manufacturing status.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience of direct teams, with extensive manufacturing operations, procurement, and advanced manufacturing engineering experience - preferably in automotive or commercial vehicle industry.
  • 10 years of senior leadership experience defining and implementing large-scale business strategies, organizational changes, and / or operational improvements.
  • Strong background in driving Operations, Continuous Improvement, Procurement, and Materials Management.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Experience developing and executing strategic plans.
  • Proven leadership in large, complex operations with entrepreneurial drive.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, competitive environments and build global networks.
  • Demonstrated success leading in matrix organizations.
  • Track record of communicating a vision for innovation and excellence in end-to-end operations.
  • Result-oriented, adaptable team player in a global corporate setting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an operational optimization strategy focused on core competencies, a localized supply chain, and effective communication, including operations footprint planning.
  • Collaborate with regional and enterprise leaders to align strategic objectives, annual goals, and resource allocation.

  • Champion process improvement and operational excellence, fostering collaboration across the global manufacturing footprint.
  • Define and execute the corporate quality strategy aligned with business objectives.

  • Lead the strategy and execution of the Global Procurement Team to ensure Mobility Group delivers new product launches, transfers, cost out, and resiliency goals.
  • Act as a liaison between the GPO, Business Engineering teams, and others to deliver significant Direct Material Cost-out performance.
  • Develop and execute a strong pipeline of Direct and Indirect Material Productivity projects to improve cost performance.
  • Transform materials planning and order management into a strategic network model.
  • Manage supplier quality performance and work closely with regions and businesses regarding sourcing and risk and to resolve supplier issues.
  • Lead and align advanced manufacturing strategies and initiatives to enhance competitiveness, boost efficiency, and drive innovation (i.e., Industry 4.0 - automation, robotics, predictive maintenance).
  • Collaborate with product line leaders and integrated operations teams to support industrialization and new product launches.
  • Regularly review existing controls and governance of standard processes, ensuring alignment with globally defined processes.
