About The Position

The Vice President, FP&A is a strategic finance leader responsible for enterprise-wide financial planning, forecasting, performance analysis, and decision support. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this executive will partner closely with brand presidents, marketing, operations, supply chain, and technology leaders to drive profitable growth, operational discipline, and long-term value creation. This role requires a forward-thinking, data-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced, highly seasonal, multi-brand e-commerce environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive finance experience, with significant leadership in FP&A.
  • Experience in e-commerce, retail, consumer products, or multi-brand environments strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead complex planning processes in seasonal or demand-driven businesses.
  • Deep expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence at the C-suite and Board level.
  • Experience with modern FP&A systems and enterprise financial platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Anaplan, Adaptive).

  • MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Experience in e-commerce, retail, consumer products, or multi-brand environments strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the company’s annual operating plan, long-range planning (LRP), and quarterly forecasting processes across all brands and shared services.
  • Provide strategic insights and financial modeling to support key growth initiatives, including customer acquisition, pricing, promotions, merchandising, and new product launches.
  • Partner with executive leadership to evaluate capital allocation, M&A opportunities, and investment prioritization.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Brand Presidents and functional leaders, providing actionable analysis to optimize revenue, margin, and operating income.
  • Drive transparency around key drivers including customer acquisition cost (CAC), lifetime value (LTV), contribution margin, fulfillment costs, and promotional effectiveness.
  • Support marketing performance measurement across paid media, CRM, and digital channels.
  • Oversee weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reporting, variance analysis, and executive-level dashboards.
  • Enhance forecasting accuracy in a complex, seasonal demand environment (e.g., Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, holiday peak).
  • Develop KPI frameworks aligned with company strategy and growth objectives.
  • Partner with Supply Chain and Operations to optimize inventory planning, freight, labor, and fulfillment costs.
  • Lead gross margin and cost improvement initiatives across brands.
  • Ensure disciplined expense management and productivity tracking.
  • Modernize FP&A tools, reporting systems, and data infrastructure to enable real-time insights.
  • Drive automation and standardization of reporting processes.
  • Build advanced analytics capabilities to support scenario modeling and predictive forecasting.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A organization.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, analytical rigor, and business partnership.
  • Attract and retain top finance talent.
