About The Position

As DMG continues its rapid growth, we are seeking a visionary Vice President, Commercial Strategy to report directly to the COO and serve as the primary architect of our commercial advantage. This high-impact executive role is designed to bridge the gap between DMG’s complex operational capabilities and compelling, technology-led market offerings. This role is laser-focused on commercial offering design, value articulation, and sales enablement. You will be the driving force behind how DMG positions, packages, and delivers its services to ensure long-term revenue growth and clear competitive differentiation in the facilities maintenance space. We are looking for a leader with commanding executive presence and the strategic thinking required to navigate high-stakes interactions with senior stakeholders and enterprise customers. You must possess a unique ability to simplify complex ideas, specifically AI-powered Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models, to showcase the operational superiority of DMG’s solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years in commercial strategy, sales strategy, or management consulting, specifically building and selling solution-based offerings to enterprise or multi-site customers.
  • Exceptional ability to simplify complex ideas, including AI-powered TCO models, into compelling narratives for senior stakeholders and customers.
  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to turn deep data insights into actionable commercial strategies and financially viable service models.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally, driving alignment between product capabilities and sales execution in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong understanding of service-based business models and the nuances of facility maintenance.
  • Possess a commanding executive presence with the ability to build immediate credibility with senior stakeholders and C-suite customers.
  • Ability to manage the stress of a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to meet the in-person requirements of the team and/or business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Architecture of DMG’s overall commercial strategy; including service positioning, packaging, and delivery models that leverage our technology platform to deliver “Uninterrupted Peace of Mind” to enterprise and multi-site customers.
  • Build and lead initiatives that empower Business Development Executives and Sales teams with elite frameworks and messaging. This includes creating high-level collateral that simplifies complex operational data into persuasive market advantages.
  • Own the development and refinement of our TCO strategy. You will build customer presentations that utilize AI-driven insights to demonstrate the long-term financial value and operational superiority of DMG’s solutions compared to traditional competitors.
  • Collaborating directly with Sales on complex enterprise opportunities to shape winning deal strategies, strengthen competitive positioning, and improve win rates by translating customer challenges into clear, value-based solutions.
  • Serve as the primary strategic bridge between Sales, Operations, and Product. Your goal is to ensure that every commercial offering is not only market-differentiated but also operationally excellent, financially viable, and capable of being delivered seamlessly at a national scale.
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to identify market gaps. You will advocate for and drive enhancements to our solution suite and go-to-market approach to maintain DMG’s position as a technology leader in the facilities maintenance space.
  • Present complex commercial strategies and performance insights to the COO and other senior GTM leadership, maintaining a focus on revenue growth impact and competitive differentiation.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
