About The Position

ARM Energy is a growth-oriented energy services company and seeking qualified candidates for a Commercial Representative role. Recently ARM acquired Monument Pipeline, an end-user focused pipeline servicing residential and commercial customers in the City of Houston and surrounding suburbs as well as power, industrial and LNG customers on the Gulf Coast. Monument Pipeline is a fast-growing midstream with an aggressive expansion plan in the end-user marketplace. The Vice President of Business Development will be leading efforts to secure new business with end-user clients and will need a strong working knowledge of gas pipelines and marketing services and project finance.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in the natural gas pipeline business with a track record of success in developing projects to service end-users of natural gas
  • Demonstrable relationships with key end-user account executives
  • Willing and able to travel and attend industry functions
  • Experience directly involved with midstream business development
  • Ability to understand, interpret and articulate profit and loss projections of targets
  • High level of communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Highly organized with the ability to perform multiple tasks
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required, major in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Grow new sources of revenue with key end-user clients
  • Develop and grow customer relationships to create business value, understand customer alternatives and completive forces around existing assets
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and build strong working relationships with customers
  • Ability to expand the Company’s network with new customers and deal opportunities
  • Interpret and negotiate contracts, operating agreements and other legal documents, run economic evaluations and compare options
  • Conduct due diligence assistance on midstream acquisitions
  • Capture Incremental margin opportunities around Company owned pipeline systems
  • Participate in transactional and commercial negotiations
  • Work directly with commercial, engineering, legal, and other key internal teams throughout transaction/ project opportunities
  • Special projects as requested by senior leadership
