NY Green Bank is a sustainable infrastructure investment fund and a division of the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA). NY Green Bank is a State-sponsored, specialized financial entity that works with the private sector to increase investments into New York’s clean energy markets, creating a more efficient, reliable and sustainable energy system. As a green bank, it uses public capital to mobilize private investment to address and alleviate specific gaps and barriers in current clean energy capital markets, with the goal of enabling private investors to expand their sustainable infrastructure portfolios over time. JOB OVERVIEW The Vice President, Business Development and Innovation, will be responsible for actively advancing NYGB’s business development efforts, proactively identifying funding gaps and market barriers in New York’s clean energy marketplace and help create new product solutions with the assistance of existing NYGB teams to develop and implement solutions. These solutions will complement, increase, and enhance NYGB’s product offerings, to address systemic issues from multiple approaches, while maintaining adherence to governing directives. This group will focus primarily on driving new business towards NYGB – including fostering and maintaining relationships with clients and counterparties from both the public and private sectors. In addition, this team will work in conjunction with the Senior Associate and our marketing team to ensure appropriate market sounding, solution execution, and product promotion for NYGB.
