About The Position

About this role We are actively seeking client-facing sales professionals with a proven successful track record of managing an assigned territory to help identify, develop, and own client relationships. As the world’s largest asset manager, BlackRock has product and solution offerings for almost any investor’s needs. In this sole practitioner role, you will be directly responsible for representing the entirety of the firm to retail Wirehouse, RIA and Independent advisors using data insights and technology to execute sales. This role may be based in any of our home office locations - Princeton, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco & Atlanta – with occasional territory travel. Business Description: BlackRock’s US Wealth Advisory (“USWA”) business manages the firm’s relationships with US retail investors and financial advisors. Representing a full suite of strategies from Model Portfolios, iShares ETFs, and mutual funds to Alternatives, SMAs, and sub-advisory relationships. USWAs mandate is to deliver One BlackRock to retail. Role Description: BlackRock Wealth Solutions Specialists in US Wealth Advisory are responsible for accelerating the growth of all products and solutions. The scope of their role includes three core elements: Develop deep client relationships through thorough and comprehensive profiling to understand client needs and identify sales opportunities. Collaboration with other sales professionals to drive results across the entire breadth of BlackRock’s solutions (ETF, Mutual Funds, SMA, Alternatives, Models). Advisor education on BlackRock’s robust digital platform providing them on demand access to a wealth of resources with occasional travel for meetings and leveraged events. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 3+ years in asset management sales
  • Strong financial services background with knowledge of investment trends and advisor practices
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong sales, partnership, and organizational skills, including profiling and resource deployment
  • Mastery of virtual engagement technology including Webex and Zoom
  • NASD Series 7 and 66 (or 63 & 65) required, willingness to obtain within first few months of employment if candidate does not hold both
  • Clean U-4

Nice To Haves

  • CFP, CAIA, CIMA or CFA preferred
