About The Position

The VP Analytics, Innovation is a leader responsible for unifying media innovation, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled decision intelligence into a cohesive, scalable operating model. This role builds, governs, and operationalizes Underscore’s analytics and innovation ecosystem while ensuring these capabilities are embedded into core media planning, activation, and client decision-making workflows.

Requirements

  • 12–15+ years in pharmaceutical media, analytics, or life sciences consulting
  • Deep expertise in pharma commercialization and regulations
  • Experience in pharma media strategy and execution
  • Experience applying AI, MMM, attribution, and advanced analytics
  • Proven ability to commercialize data-driven capabilities
  • Strong executive communication and team leadership skills

Responsibilities

  • Leads end-to-end client analytics, including measurement, attribution, forecasting, optimization, data science, and AI insights.
  • Use AI and analytics for audience strategy, media mix, sequencing, and optimization.
  • Integrates Pinnacle, MMM/attribution, reporting, and predictive modeling into a scalable engine for informed investment and brand impact.
  • Minimize inefficiencies through automation and standardization.
  • Oversees analytics governance, KPI standardization, and optimization frameworks to minimize reporting inefficiencies and integrate insights into core client engagements.
  • Develop a comprehensive business rationale for investments that aligns with organizational priorities.
  • Connect innovation initiatives to client business outcomes and monitor return on investment.
  • Advise on technology investments with data expertise.
  • Build strong analytics and innovation teams.
