About The Position

The Vice President, Aesthetics Sales, West will be responsible for leading a world-class direct sales organization in the U.S., along with driving the go-to-market strategy and results for Revance. This executive will create and execute commercial strategies that result in market development and adoption of Revance products, and provide leadership, strategic direction and overall management of the sales organization to ensure the company’s revenue, growth and profitability objectives are met. Through a collaborative leadership style, the Vice President, Sales will foster a winning team environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 15 years of experience in positions of increasing responsibility in sales and sales management, and a history of developing and deploying successful commercial strategies to launch products and develop new markets.
  • Preference for both large and small company experience and a sophisticated understanding of cash pay markets.
  • Track record of leading and galvanizing results-focused, high performance sales teams, and developing and driving talent to consistently overachieve its goals.
  • Experience leading and developing large sales teams of 100-300 employees in direct selling channels and scaling them as the business grows.
  • Experience successfully managing and inspiring sales teams in a time of change and rapid growth with proven resilience to overcome challenges and exceed customer expectations.
  • Acts to surpass goals, seizing opportunities to push the envelope.
  • Sets continually higher goals that are ambitious but realistic for self and team, geared to organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, develop and retain a world-class and high-performing team, and continually move the group to higher levels of achievement.
  • Manage, expand and leverage Revance’s direct sales structure.
  • Together with the Chief Revenue Officer, create the culture and vision for the sales force that aligns the field sales organization around the company culture, vision, strategic plans, and revenue growth.
  • Develop and drive sales plans and strategies for achieving and exceeding revenue and profitability growth targets for the U.S.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, motivation, training, and mentoring to the sales organization to further develop their skills and institutionalize learning and best practices, exceeding industry averages.
  • In partnership with HR and the commercial operations team; lead, design, communicate, and deploy compensation and sales incentive programs that motivate the team and drive profitable growth.
  • Define and implement processes, infrastructure and systems to manage sales execution.
  • Work closely with marketing to drive channel strategies, including pricing policies, marketing programs and lead generation.
  • Develop, manage and monitor annual sales budgets and expenses to maximize return on investment.
  • Utilize the annual national sales meeting and regional conferences to motivate the sales team and differentiate Revance offerings in the marketplace.
  • Meet with key clients to maintain relationships and negotiate and close deals.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key opinion leaders, academic institutions, and government agencies.
  • Establish a cohesive, high-performing team that works closely together to close sales and provide excellent customer experience, with clear roles and responsibilities.
  • Introduce sales training, tools and metrics.
  • Deliver significant, sustainable growth, in line with the annual operating plan.
  • Ability to travel overnight 25-75%
